Fractions : Short Question

To find equivalent fractions, multiply or divide both the numerator and the denominator by the same number. For example, 1/2 is equivalent to 2/4 because 1×2=2 and 2×2=4.

To determine which fraction is larger, you can compare their decimal forms or use cross-multiplication. For example, to compare 3/4 and 2/3, convert them to decimals (0.75 and 0.6667, respectively) or cross-multiply to see that 3×3=9 and 4×2=8, so 3/4 is larger.
