Matter is anything that has some mass and occupies space. For example, bag, watch, bottle etc.
1. Solids: Solids have a definite shape and volume. Chair, table etc. 2. Liquids: Liquids have a definite volume but no definite shape. Water, milk etc. 3. Gases:Gases do not have a definite shape and definite volume. Air, smoke etc.
It spreads in the whole room.
